Themostatic Radiator Valves
At Futureplumb we offer thermostatic radiator valves (TRV). A TRV is a self-regulating valve fitted to hot water heating system radiators to control the temperature of a room by changing the flow of hot water to the radiator. It senses the air temperature around them and regulates and limits the amount of hot water entering the radiator, thus allowing a maximum temperature to be set for each room.
The replacement of a manual heating control with a TRV has been estimated to save at least 280 kg of CO2 per year. As a result they are considerably cost – efficient, using heat only when needed and reducing your heating bills by up to 17% a year.
They don’t control the boiler. They can be set differently in each room, allowing you to heat your room accordingly, depending on the size of the room and radiator, thus saving you even more money. Accurate, robust and reliable, TRVs are designed to suit any décor and are ideal for retro fit. For more information on TRV’s or the different kind of valves we offer please get contact us and we’d be more than happy to help.
